Edwin Valero arrested in Death investigation!‏

28 year old world class pound 4 pound ranked undefeated fighter and recent absolute WBC 135pound lightweight champion of the world EDWIN VALERO has been arrested in Venezuela in connection with the current death investigation in progress of 24 year old Jennifer Carolina Viera de Valero: the wife of the champion in recess Edwin Valero.

The body of Jennifer Carolina Viera de Valero was discovered at the InterContinental Hotel in Valencia, Carabobo, Venezuela early this morning(6:00am).

Edwin Valero has been arrested as a suspect by Carabobo State Police and has been detained and transported for questioning to the General Command Center of the Police of Carabobo where Valero will be interrogated and provide the samples requested by CICPC for the investigation of the case.

Venezuelan Federal Police Chief Wilmer Flores, director with Venezuela’s police investigations department CICPC(Office of Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations), reports that initial discovery findings direct to multiple stab wounds(3) as to the cause of death.

I knew this was coming. I made the second comment on this webpage just moment before Edwin hanged himself and i just knew that he was in desperate need of some serious medical help! And as corny as it sounds, i could really sense that their was a problem at that moment in time for Edwin but there was nothing i could have done except pray to the Lord for his salvation. Edwin was a man who was denied rehab and he had obvious mental health problems! why is it always after the event do people closest to him realise that this could have all been avoided!! .. There is no point dwelling on what could have been though…Lessons must be learnt from this. I am just devastated that both Jennifer and Edwin has departed the world in this fashion and especially with Edwin’s immense talent to potentially eclipse the best in the sport of boxing, it’s unbelievably sad. GOD BLESS JENNIFER AND EDWIN VALERO!!! MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOUR SOULS!!!!!

IT IS VERY SAD, BUT 1 THING 4 SURE WHAT HAPPEN TO OTHERS IS IS A BIG LESSON 4 EVERYONE.
