Hozumi Hasegawa crushes Rocha!

In a explosive event promoted by Shinsei Promotions in association with Teiken Promotions at the World Memorial Hall, Kobe, Hyogo, Japan -the WBC Bantamweight champion of the world: 28 year old Hozumi Hasegawa (27-2, 11 KO’s) set a record breaking 9th strait 118 pound world bantamweight defence from Kobe, Japan against an American, #4 ranked(wbc) Nestor Rocha (21-2, 7 KOs) the 26 year old southpaw from Montebello,California,USA. Rocha came in on a four fight win streak and with 3 previous wins in Japan to his resume’.
Hozumi Hasegawa pressure-stalked his opponent from the bell in round 1, pawing his right jab continuously and landing short combos, Hasegawa blocked and avoided Rocha’s poor punch output, Hasegawa landed his laser strait left and stunned Rocha backing him to the ropes, seconds later another Hagesawa laser strait left followed by a crushing right hook sent Rocha to the canvas, Rocha gets up at the 8 count and Hasegawa rushes him, immediatly flooring him with a lightning flurry, then Rocha gets up and attempts to regain focus and stumbles as he walks to the Referee on unsteady legs, Referee Gary Ritter(USA) waved off the fight at 2.28 of round 1.
