Online Cash Game Superstar Prahlad Friedman Named New Addition to Team UB
UB.com rang in 2011 big time by scoring a major coup. Recently, the online home for zealous poker players announced the joining of Prahlad Friedman to its roster of talented poker professionals known as Team UB Review. Friedman is highly looked upon as one of the world’s greatest cash game players, online and off, with millions in winnings earned ever since 1999.
While reputed for his UB Referral Code cash game performances for which he has made millions, Friedman is just as impressive in online poker and land-based tournaments. At the 2003 World Series of Poker, Friedman took home WSOP bracelet in a $1,500 Pot Limit Hold’em event and earned $109,400 for his first place finish. At the 2006 WSOP, Friedman completed in 20th place of the Main Event, earning $494,797 for surviving over 8,700 poker players. Most recently, in 2009, Prahlad took down the WPT Legends of Poker event to claim over $1 million.
Friedman’s inking comes as a big surprise to many in the online poker industry for the reason that he has strong history of turning down sponsorship deals from the major players.
