Valero prepared for Demarco!

Edwin Valero is prepared for his 2nd defence of the 135pound WBC lightweight championship in the home country of his challenger, 24 year old Interim champion Antonio Demarco.
Edwin valero is on track and weighed in on January 6-2009 for his mandatory 30 day pre-fight weigh-in, and
did so at the Boxing Zona Gym in Las Mercedes, Caracas, Venezuela under the supervision of Nicolas Hidalgo the National boxing comissioner representing the WBC in Venezuela. Edwin Valero marked the scale at 143.3pounds/65kilos.
the fight will air live on Showtime Championship Boxing in the USA 2-6-2009.

Edwin Valero:

i hear this fight will be on pay per view witch would be great as i have yet to see valero live it also should be a great test for velero. GOOD LUCK VELERO

I am happy that Showtime is covering this fight, so maybe I will be able to watch it live from my country and I am sure I will see another strong KO victory for Valero.

I cant wait to finally see him fight Live. Its gonna be on Showtime om the 6th. This should give him the exposure he needs n deserves. But, its his Visa problems, i think, thats keepin him from gettin “bigger” opponents. Anyway, good luck Edwin. From one Venezuelan to another!!!
