Vic Darchinyan retains 2 belts over Guerrero!

In front of a near-sellout crowd of 1,800+ at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, California, USA- the 34 year old WBC super flyweight/WBA Super World super flyweight (junior bantamweight) champion of the world: Vic “The Raging Bull” Darchinyan (34W-2L-1D, 27KO’s) of Armenia fighting out of Australia- defended and retained both world titles against southpaw: Rodrigo “Gato” Guerrero (13-2-1, 9 KOs) of Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico with a 12 round Unanimous Decision Live on a special edition of ShoBox: The New Generation.

Guerrero is managed by former world champion Marco Antonio Barrera.

Official Verdict: Vic Darchinyan winner by way of 12 round Unanimous decision and still the WBC/WBA 115pound world Champion.

“If I don’t train hard, if I take this guy for granted, this is a much harder fight and maybe I lose,” Darchinyan said. “He is a good fighter. He took all of my punches and kept fighting back.”
